Out of Date But Still Useful
These diaries were beautifully published a few years ago and contain extremely useful language learning resources, such as Indonesian proverbs, songs, common vocabulary lists, time words, Indonesian cultural items, etc. Simply paste in the current year's calendar (over two pages), or get the students themselves to do this and you have a perfectly good resource for a minimal price (while stocks last)!
The cover is red and features the garuda and there is even a miniature cartoon on the bottom of each page, which is culturally appropriate and which "moves" as the pages are flipped!
This would be a great prize for your students' motivation!
