* BALI HAI CRUISE
Today cruise aboard a luxury catamaran to Lembongan Island. Throughout the day participate in activities such as swimming, pool volleyball, glass-bottom and banana boat rides, snorkelling, an excursion to a local village, or simply relaxing. Also included are morning and afternoon teas, snacks and a BBQ lunch. Optional additional activities include introductory scuba diving, parasailing and semi-submersible coral viewer. Truly, Bali at its best.

* WATERBOM PARK
Bali's only water park, set in landscaped tropical gardens in the heart of Kuta, provides a range of activities including: 5 water slides, pool, the lazy River, table tennis, sand and water volleyball, badminton and boules. Australian-trained lifeguards are on duty at all times. Spend as long or as short of time as you wish.

* ELEPHANT SAFARI PARK
Located in the jungle forest of Desa Taro, 40 minutes north of Ubud, this park provides groups with the opportunity of seeing elephants in their natural surroundings. Students may enjoy a safari ride and feed the elephants. Personal insurance included.

* BALI BIRD PARK
Visitors have the opportunity to encounter rare and remarkable birds from every corner of the earth is lush tropical surroundings and natural enclosures. Rare Komodo Dragons also make their home here.

Itinerary
DAY 1
AUSTRALIA - BALI Depart Australia on your Garuda Indonesia flight to Denpasar. On arrival your Bali hosts will transfer you to the Kuta Beach Club (or similar). For the remainder of the day, explore the local environs.
DAY 2
KUTA In the morning meet with your language instructor for your 1st lesson. Afterwards an exciting tour of Denpasar will take place. Visit the market, the cultural centre and enjoy the sights, sounds and smells of this Asian city.
DAY 3
KUTA This morning enjoy and experience Balinese Culture first hand with an introduction to the basic movements of Balinese Dance at Denpasar Cultural School. In the afternoon enjoy your second language lesson at the hotel. In the evening transfer to Suwung for a performance of the Kecak dance.
DAY 4
KUTA Today you will have the unique opportunity of meeting with students from a Balinese school. Students are expected to participate in both Indonesian and English lessons. In the afternoon enjoy your third Indonesian language lesson.
DAY 5
KUTA This morning your second visit to the Cultural School is scheduled. Today you will further your knowledge of Balinese culture with an introduction to the Gamelan Orchestra. In the afternoon visit Alas Kedaton, a forest temple site which abounds with monkeys. Continue with a visit to Mengwi, the site of the official State temples and capital of the Mengwi dynasty of Balinese Kings, then to Tanah Lot, a spectacularly placed temple perched on a little rocky islet. Sunset is the best time to view the temple.
DAY 6
KUTA - KINTAMANI - UBUD Today is a full day tour beginning with a stop at Batubulan to watch the exciting Barong dance performance. Afterwards visit the gold and silversmiths' village of Celuk, the woodcarving village of Mas, the artists' colony of Ubud and the sacred spring at Tampaksiring before arriving at Kintamani with its fantastic view of the Batur volcanic basin. Enjoy lunch, then return to Ubud for overnight. Ubud is the centre of Balinese painting with the Museum 'Agung Rai' having a permanent collection of modern works of Balinese & Western Art.
DAY 7
UBUD Time for your own activities. Optional: Dance lessons, cooking lessons (with dinner) and offering making are available on request.
DAY 8
UBUD - DENPASAR Own activities this morning. In the afternoon depart Ubud and travel to the airport for your return flight to Australia.
DAY 9
AUSTRALIA Morning arrival in Australia.
